My Awesome Kid is full of life

This is my ADHD son and his beautiful and patient sissy. He is
awesome because he is so full of life, love and compassion. He is
intelligent beyond belief and a joy to be around. Now homeschooled
by his daddy, he has great grades and is simply blossoming into an
amazing young man. He gives me hope, and some grey hair, but I
wouldn’t change a thing about him. This picture was taken last year on
a special once-in-a-lifetime “retirement cruise” sponsored by my mother
(thanks mom). The kids had a chance to see Europe (uh, yes, this won’t
happen again anytime soon). Every place we visited, every port, every
tour, people were attracted to him. The crew on the ship ALL knew his
name, tour guides would take his hand and keep him in the front of the
group to lead the tours, and people in the markets enjoyed bargaining
prices with him. So while his school was rejecting him, the world was
embracing him. There is hope; these kids will overcome and the world
will be a better place because of them (and their patient siblings!). –Michaela
