My Awesome kid is curious

SO many gorgeous awesome photos to choose from of my ADHDer
showing her awesomeness! I finally had to just go with the next one
that spoke to me. Here is my Curious One… in her element, which is
nature. In this picture she is calm, focused, engaged, serene. Pre-stims.
When she is involved in what she loves, there is no need for help in
the “attentional regulation” department! –Jeanne

My Awesome Kid is curious

My 7 year old son is AWESOME because he’s curious about the world
and cares about others even when his impulsive side takes over. He’s going to
be a storm chaser one day and I’ll be in the car chasing with him! –Anna

My Awesome Kid is curious

“Oh my gosh, so many strengths.

Curiosity: Thomas, a first grader, wants to know about everything from Ancient Egyptian gods to space travel. Love of Books: this week alone he’s asked us to read anything from books about sharks, to the Bible, to fairy tales, to Mo Willems. Humor: Thomas loves funny books, makes up his own jokes (“What do you call the first dog president? -George Barkington!”), and finds laughter everywhere. Empathy: Thomas asked us on a trip how he could “make a difference” in people’s lives. He came up with an idea of selling the comic books he writes and charging people to listen to the stories he tells to raise money for the local food pantry.

He is also affectionate, caring, the best cuddler, and loves his family unconditionally.” — Shawne
